Make a track with Claude
This path is for musicians. You never see code. Each lesson has the same four parts:
- Say — the prompt, as you would type it to Claude. Copy it or say it your own way; the point is the intent, not the wording.
- What Claude does — the moves it makes in Live, in plain terms, so nothing happens behind your back.
- What you’ll see in Live — where to look, and what should be there.
- Check — one question to ask Claude, and the answer you should get if the lesson landed. If it didn’t, the check tells you where it went wrong.
Most lessons end with a short note on something Live does that is worth knowing whether or not you use Claude — a swing control that only affects recording, a macro nobody but you can map.
Do the lessons in order on one fresh Set: lesson 3 needs lesson 2’s drums. If you get lost, the check in each lesson tells you whether the Set is where it should be; if it isn’t, ask Claude to undo to the last check that passed.
Begin with 1. Orientation.
